See Me Running as a musical project appeared in 1997. Stan Zhuravsky, known also as DJ Stanny Tape, is a founder of the group. At different times different people enters the complement of See Me Running, the stylistic colouring of music changes accordingly. At the beginning See Me Running plays Techno Hard-Core, Drum`n`bass and Break Beat. Later - Progressive House and Hard Trance. See Me Running participates in many actions & festivals conducted in Belarus in 1997-2000 ("Propeller" Minsk, 1997; "2 days of Mayday" Vitebsk, 1998). A group came forward in Vitebsk, Minsk, Baranovichy, Polotsk, Brest & etc. The 1st part of See Me Running`s history ends when DJ Tape goes on an obligatory military service in the beginning of 2001. After the demobilization in 2002 DJ Tape works along with many Belorussian performers as an arranger and remixer, promoter of hip-hop parties (series of rap-parties called "The Birth of Hip Hop") and a hip-hop producer. He produces music for a wide range of belorussian rappers & make his own tracks. In the end of 2002 he starts 2 pop projects: “The Polstar Boys” (street hooligans hiphop band) & “Chocolates” (girl-band). In 2003 DJ Tape helps rap-organization named Music Corporation in organization of Hip Hop festival "Elements of Rhyme-2003", the result of which became issue of 2 compilations of belorussian rap and a gala-concert of winners in the central park of Minsk. In 2004, generalizing the produced material & new ideas, DJ Tape starts a search for musicians for a See Me Running project. He goes back to primary conception of music and begins the record of a new program with the help of his old friend – DJ Cubrelive. DJ Cubrelive works with popular in Minsk singer Nils at that time & have his own project – Nectos. He becomes the second arranger in the SMR-project & its soundproducer. Also he writes some tracks & remixes for the project. In 2005 Artjom “b_twisted” Atrashevsky, known also as “Trash” and “Anvil”, joins the band. He is the guitarist in the famous belorussian metal band “Divina Enema” at that time. He brings the power to the project & psychedelic solos. The band releases the first promo-single “Dark Angel” and begins concert activity. "They set fire, and we understood that it is necessary to talk about that with boys. " comments the SMR-show Synth from the “Electrosphere” web-portal. Today the band works in the big range of styles. Some critics name the See Me Running sound – Dark Electro, some – Big Beat & Rocktronika. Some persons even call it Gothic Break Beat. See Me Running has hard underground sound, powerful beats and psychodelic synthesizers, together with guitar reefs & solos. The band easily collaborates with the representatives of all other musical styles. As a result of such work is the release in 2007 the second promo CD – “Remixed” – with the remixes made by SMR for musicians from Russia, Belarus, Estonia, Ukraine, USA, Great Britain.
